Room with a view

Chocolate bar and lamp.

Room with a view utilised the heat from a household lamp to slowly melt and caramelise a bar of chocolate. Initially the smell is inviting and sensual, however over time the chocolate starts to burn and the smell changes in character. The work was displayed within a glass case, pierced with small holes to allow the smell to escape. Many thanks to Osram and Mars (UK) for their support.
